MM has shown in the past that he is very flexible when it comes to playing with injuries. It will be a fine line to tread, as evidenced by the GF and Molloy. It could throw out team selection balance ie the distribution of talls vs smalls etc.
With Ottens sidelined, MM may wish to review the necessity of playing an injured Presti or Fraser, but make no mistake guys, Presti is seriously indisposable to this side. Almost as much as the Ant! IMO anyway
Gut feeling is if both or one are out, we will go for "shock and awe" tactics. Throw all of our available resources through the midfield, rotating a hard working battalion of troops, pumping the ball forward, chasing, tackling, precision passing to awaiting targets, supporting the boys behind the lines, completely demoralising the opposition in the one area they pinned their improvement on.
Therefore it would surprising to see either Kinnear or Richo in the side - even as backup. If Presti and/or Josh can't come up I reckon MM will go predominantly with the last Wiz team (less suspended and injured) and fill in the gaps with runners - Cole, MCG, Scoots,
Team positions, apart from a few obvious selections, seem to be irrelevent in this modern time. Even HB's have a licence to run through the middle and create havoc ( and kick goals!)
Just some thoughts as we approach D-Day - DEMOLITION of the "Yellows"

I hope we send the Bitchmond faithless home crying on their trains.
With Cloke, Burns and Licuria unavailable, Presti and Fraser will be sorely missed. If we beat them five or six down from our full team, a nail will be driven into Frawley's coffin. He is my choice for the first coach to depart this year.

I hear that both presti and fraser didn't come up from their injurys it time so i guess that richo will come in for presti and maybe cole for fraser.
A win tommorrow night will be not only a great start to the season but it will be a great confidence boost to the magpies depth.
