Looked like the Pies would get run over in the 2nd half as they have in previous games but they toughed it out for hard fought win.
Still lack poise under pressure and got cought out bombing the ball forward when the Suns had numbers behind the ball. The Suns were quicker and a bit cleaner at ground level, a better skiiled team but the Pies defence stood up under heaps of pressure in the 2nd half.

Bonnicci was awesome and Tanrni White had her best game in B&W.

Great conditions for footy - I know the AFL wanted a game at Punt Road during their festival of footy but TBH it is not a good ground for fans.
No seating (there is no public access to the grandstand & the seating in the front was only available to family of the respective clubs) and only a small hill on the Punt Road side where you could sit on the grass (no chairs allowed unless it was a mobility aid)
Game could have been played at the AIA centre and you would have had a similar crowd.

On the plus side we had great view of the aerial display by the Air Force Roulettes prior to the game.
