Massive win. Back in the 8 :D

Just what we needed with North Melbourne to come and then the bye where hopefully we get our experienced players back to launch ourselves for the back half of the year.

Many good performers today, but great to see Kreuger present as a viable forward option and kick some nice goals. Very pleased for him. Hoskin-Elliott was excellent on his return as well.

Fingers crossed it’s nothing serious with Nick following his substitution.

Best coach in the history of the game - how did he manage a strategy to win that game with that personnel. Just remarkable. And magnificent buy-in, too.

Solid win. Not many complaints.
They were onto more in the first half but couldn’t kick straight. Opposite in the second but we did kick straight.
14.4 very happy.
Is this the first game Krueger has gotten through?
Hopefully no break or anything for Nick.
The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.

Physicality wins games and that was a great example. Freddy presented all day and will get better from the experience. Nick was BOG until they took him off. If the Demons didn't have Gawn we would have won by 10 plus goals.

Special mention to my mate's Grandson, Charlie Dean. He just keeps improving.

Thanks Magpies, for putting some sunshine into a very sad day. This morning, my beloved Boxer doggie boy, Tyson, passed away, after a brief illness, he was 12 yrs old. I laid him to rest next to his bro, Oscar, his best buddy. This great victory so undermanned, against all odds, is just the tonic I needed. Thank you Collingwood.

Great game Maggies...
Enjoyed that, especially the 4th quarter without feeling the usual rise in cortisol.
Krueger was a great effort.
When Kreuger goes for a mark, players stand back or get crunched.
He will kick 5 goals in a game soon, maybe vs North next week?

Krueger, McStay and Checkers would make an interesting rotation in the forward line.

He’s got them all understanding you don’t have to be a superstar to be in a successful team. Play your role, do it well and if everyone does that the team will have success.

Of course, it helps to have some superstars.
