We were undermanned, but still disappointing to lose to a direct rival this close to finals.
Being glass half full, it’s still in our hands to finish on top and gather some momentum before the finals with a big performance against Essendon next week.
Appears Brisbane are very likely playing a home Qualifying Final.

No N Daicos, de Goey, Moore, Hill. Always going to struggle with them out. Brisbane pretty much getting a home game advantage at marvel, it’d be a different story at the mcg.
Seriously club. damn say something about the illegal blocks and holds on Pendles at ball ups, it’s a disgrace Neale and the other turd were allowed to get away with it. We have the money, pay the fine.

BT worst commentator in the league!
Every time we got close Brisbane would kick another 2-3 goals. Game hung around a 3 goal margin for much of the game.
We missed a lot of players tonight and look to have lost a few more e.g. Murphy & Elliot with both possible concussions. And maybe McCreery suspended… BT will be campaigning for a suspension all week.
Umpiring again diabolical.
Essendon next week with Draper back in the side. Minor Premiership at risk.

Lions too good for us. They knew if they won tonight they are virtually guaranteed a GF spot.
All my optimism has faded tonight. Wrong time of the year for a form slump, injuries. We might win a final but I am worried about so much about our team at the moment.
It’s a long season and we look like we are feeling that right now.
Btw, Pendles fantastic.

Pendlebury our best player.
Cox got us back into it when he came on. Ginnevan also good tonight with his efforts. Both make a strong case to stay in the side.
