4-3. Consolidate our spot in the 8.

I’m happy with our progress so far.

Good win.

Few things we obviously need to work on, Defence leaked a bit today, and our manning up is a problem too.

4-3 after 7 rounds I will take that, after our 2021 season.

Good all around effort.

Nice start from Begg. Tyler’s 2nd half was good.

Pendles all class, Lipi good too. Tay kicked straight which I’ll celebrate.

I’m tired after that. Still so many mistakes and wrong decisions. Hopefully McCrae will get that out of their game quickly. And let’s not play a few players short. I think you know what I mean.

Our attacking game has improved out of sight.

Some work needs to be done to stop conceding easy goals.

Overall, we’re in a good place under Fly.

Mostly happy about Cameron. Granted he’s been out of touch this year but he’s still working hard and getting where the ball goes. He played ruck forward pretty good today. Lost the tap outs considerably but against a monster.

I don't think you can have your cake and eat it too. We attack which leaves the backline exposed. We have to accept that leaking goals is a symptom of the new style.

Good win, we're in the 8 at 4:3.

Begg didn't set the world on fire but he had a crack, 4 marks and 3 tackles is likely more than his VFL total tally. Needs work and time but there's something there to work with.

I generally avoid the game thread as it's full of negative venting. Had a couple of glimpses today, no difference. I don't get the hate for the Brown boys. Yeah they aint their dad but they're getting games because the selectors like what they bring. Ty had an equal game high 8 tackles. Not everyone can be a star but everyone can play a role.

10 individual goal kickers was a highlight for me, that's what you need.

Sorry I don’t get that. We simply weren’t good enough to win those matches we have lost. Bad kicking, bad decisions making, umpire howlers, injury, youth and players selections are all part of the game and sometimes no matter the outcome we simply can’t change the fact we lost these games. But it ain’t from giving it a crack.

It was a good win considering the circumstances. Cameron was OK. Begg is a player. Lipinski was great linkman today. There was a bit of stuffing around , which seems to be a thing we need to eradicate when we get a bit of a margin. Lairising which cost us a couple of times. I’m afraid I see no upside at all in either of the Brown boys. Tyler needs to lift his intensity in all aspects. I think Henry and Bianco would give us much more than either of these. DeGoey was obviously down today with having gastro during the week and Howe had an ordinary day I thought. 4 points in the bank anda win over Richmond next week will be a great tonic for the boys.
