Pluses: able to stay in the game through shear determination, didn’t let the game get completely away at any stage, daicos boys, reefer, crisps game, a few out injured that could have made a difference
Negatives: too many poor performances from some experienced players, no pressure coming from vfl players to break into the side

A bit of a way to go.

At least we didn't get smashed by 10 goals and we were competitive.

A narrow loss is an amazing result given we played Cox, Brown and Adams in the same team.

We’ll be a better team without them.

Thought we fought it out well despite some shortcomings in the team.

At one stage, I thought we’d get blown away so not too downbeat about the loss.

Feeling more upbeat about the direction of the team compared to last week.

Only 7 points the diff, a lot of positives from the next Gen. checkers and Billy were huge outs, but Krueger and McInnes will play more. Roughie underdone but will get better. Honestly, better than I thought we’d do. We fought it out to the end.

1000x better effort then last week. If we had played like that last week we would have won by 50 points!

Once again...1 key forward would have won us that game. Can we rewind Travis Cloke back to 22 years old

A good competitive performance.

Coxy as much as we love him is done. Backup player for rest of this season.

McInnes there is a lot to like.

We wont finish in the bottom 4 on these performances so far, baring injury of course.

I honestly thought we’d get blown away and lose by 5 goals +, good effort. Ladder position means Jack shit this year, it’s all about the efforts and development and we’re seeing that

Lions absolute premiership pretenders.Playing against a bottom four side without a forward line at home and they fall in by a goal.

As for us.A good gutsy performance. We could have dropped our heads at three quarter time but we kept plugging away and never gave up.

Young McInnes is going to be a solid player.

I can only imagine Henry needed a break or was carrying something...he was missed in that forward line
