Basically, we need to beat the Saints and the Crows, and we'll be needing the Demons and the Kangaroos to do us a favour in the last 2 weeks. (They both play the Lions and Dockers).
Just looking at the ladder and remaining fixture, we'll go into finals without having played teams currently placed; 13th, 12th, 9th and 1st. (Thats two of the bottom three).
Freo, now 1st, and the favourite to win the whole thing have played 2nd and 4th, and they will play 5th and 6th. But is it true they have played the WCE (12th) twice and the Suns (13th and winless)? That's given them that huge % boost, which will gift them home gound throughout the finals should they beat Melbourne and/or North.
In such an even ladder, I can see anyone from North, Adelaide, Brisbane, Freo and Collingwood winning it. Home finals will be an advantage. Finishing top 2, and avoiding elimination finals would be great.
The game against the Saints and Crows is massive. The loss to the Lions could be very costly. Beating the Saints should be enough to secure a finals birth.

What a season this is turning out to be. And only Collingwood could be undefeated with 3 rounds to go and end up outside the top 2.3. Collingwood
24 points (six wins, one losses), 195.6 per cent.
Despite a late charge, Collingwood tasted defeat for the first time in 2021, losing to Brisbane in a hastily arranged game at VU Whitten Oval. It brings the Pies back into the pack somewhat, but they still should feature in finals. St Kilda should be a comfortable victory, but Adelaide at Norwood Oval will dictate finishing positions within the top six.
The run home
