Mentioned on Future Stars that he is very near to signing a contract. The guys on the panel think Essendon should make a last ditch move on him.

But could you imagine him in a Collingwood jumper? He'd be the next captain and without doubt would give us the most dangerous midfield in the game.

But alas, he'll be remaining at Port I think.

Next captain? What makes you think that?

Is he not rather slow too? I have images of Sidebottom just bursting away from him once.
