Yes, I think Clarkson was being offered up on here as an example of how a coach can lose his mojo earlier in the season, too. How is it that they can do a "mini-rebuild" in half a season, reload and press for the finals again, whilst we have to put up with people defending a coach who hasn't been able to get Collingwood competitive 4 years in a row?
