Really liked the Port Adelaide fans holding up the scarves with the words . . "Never tear us apart" and the song going on full bore.
Looked impressive.
Maybe we should come up with something similar.

There is an "Atmosphere at the footy" thread in General you could use if you want to compare and contrast our pre-match routines with that of other clubs in the generic sense and to make suggestions...

What was it supposed to mean? Is someone trying to dismantle their club?

It is about being rusted on to that club.
Must admit the Adelaide clubs are killing us Vics in terms of fan support.
Collingwood ....the also runs.
I don't think we are the biggest or the greatest.
Sad state of affairs.

Long story, but it's basically a reference to how much the SANFL have tried to screw them over since entering the AFL.

It's also Port Adelaide's attempt to create their own "You'll Never Walk Alone"...

They've been doing it for a number of seasons now.

The choice of song is so bogan and outdated.

It's perfect for Port.

Well, what have we got ?????
20 members in the cheer squad!
The chant which we rarely hear these days.
Adelaide teams are killing the Vics in terms of atmosphere.

Collingwood fans have always been split into separate power cliques from what I can see. The only times we really unite as one is the slow Collingwood chants when we are right on top, which hasn't happened lately much.

Might I suggest "Miss You" by the Stones?
It's about our disposal standard; not emotion.

We'd be doing a lot of singing; every time one of our legion of ball slaughterers misses a target we chant: "Ahaaaaahaahaa..... Ahaaaaahaahaa..... Aahaha..."

Sadly, on this blog, some of our so called fans are more than content to tear the club apart, the bile and negativity just reeks thru some of them. Port should be proud of all their fans.
