X is left in the dark. 2 months after a GF and after the Swans tried keeping him with a 2 year offer.

(IIRC, Mitch Brown was also offered a 1 year deal at WCE, but knocked it back).

Well, perhaps the recruitment folk viewed his GF performance the way I did at the time. He was a weak link who couldn't kick. Of course, that didn't stop Mitchell getting offers but perhaps it's better to be a weak link 35 times in a GF?
