Petraccas contract ends in 2018. Weidemans entry contract ends in 2017.

Petracca looks like becoming a real star. Weideman could be anything at this stage.

I'd love to go after them, as I think we could sway them over without too much trouble. We know Petracca's history in supporting the Pies. And we know Weidemans family history (And we know he didnt support the club growing up).

Sorry, I know its far fetched and fairly early. I just wanted to post it somewhere.

He was a huge Pies fan as a lad.

There was some weird conspiracy that his dad, or uncle?, was deliberately being a huge f-head towards the clubs who had picks before Collingwood in the 2014 draft. Don't know if there's any truth behind it, as it seems like the boy comes from a good upbringing.

Those clubs would have been St Kilda (Pick 1, McCartin), Melbourne (Pick 2, Petracca), (Pick 3, Brayshaw), and GWS (Pick 4, Pickett).

We, of course, had pick 5 which was used on De Goey.

Offer him the world Pies. Next trade period, we'll have the money and the assets to trade for him.
