Love him or hate him. A great effort to make 300 games. Played KPP and Captain. I have fond memories of him & Heater
In saying that I respect him as a player and to play 200 AFL games is massive, 300 is awesome, 400 is you are a freak.
I cannot see the Saints winning but if they happen win good on them.

Congrats to Nick for reaching 300 games but most importantly for raising awareness for those suffering from bone marrow failure like his late sister did for a number of years.
I regard him as a respected foe more than anything else and someone who has worked tirelessly and without compromise to get the best out of himself. When all is said and done you have to respect him for that despite the intense rivalry we had a few years back.

That was the moment we won the Grand Final! St.Kilda were mentally scarred after that.

That moment I said to everyone around me, enjoy this it's our second flag in 20 years. I was so calm and soaked the game up. Even sober.

I'm just watching the Nick300 tribute game and I'm very disappointed that with all the players from other clubs speaking about him, Heater doesn't seem to have been asked to speak. It was, after all, Nick's only important moment in 299 games, so you'd think it'd warrant some mention.
Also, I haven't seen the "Jack's less-co-ordinated cousin" banner at the ground, yet.

I've got a 3 sequential time lapse signed pic of that on the wall over the TV. Love it.

Well, it's been a good, traditional St Kilda performance to make Nick feel comfortable - his team can't really get their hands on the footy.

Would love to see one of ours reach 300.
But when you look at the clubs with a lot of 300 gamers, they had f-all flags.
I thought Swan was a sneaky chance to get there (needs 42 games), but thats looking so far out of reach now. He is only 19 games from being 3rd on out all time games played. Hope he comes back sometime this season.
After last night, Cloke needs 65 games and I guess is young enough (29).
Pendles needs 84 games. At 25yo, Sidey is almost on 150, but it'd help if he didn't get rubbed out.
Back to Riewoldt. To think we almost got him a few seasons ago. Wonder how different things would be if we did get him?

^^^ Knowing our luck, we would have played GWS in the Grand Final and Heater would have run him down just as he was about to kick the winning goal for the 'Pies.
