They've had a good run with injury over the past few years and while I don't like seeing players injured it's about time Hawthorn's luck turned.
In saying that losing Franklin didn't hurt them.

With Hale gone, Roughy is key for them.
This potentially is as bad as losing Hodgy.
Only issue is how he comes back after missing the first half of the season.

Not a huge blow for the Hawks premiership chances, at worst he'll be back in late June/early July which gives him 7-8 games to get ready for the finals.
Not like there's 4 better sides that will force them out of the top 4 before he returns anyway.
The only hope is that they end up in WA for a prelim again, and this time they lose, because if they make it to GF day against an interstate side it's a cake walk.

Hawthorn is a multi headed hydra. They will find another 'head' to replace Roughead.

Disagree, Roughnut is a vital key,and they dont have Hale and Lake now either, hopefully the rot is starting to set in now, age catching up, and now injuries, long term, finally the wheel may turn on them.

I think it is a Big Blow. Roughhead will hurt them and there Top 4 Chances.
So you think it's almost a Certain that the Dawks Tie our 4-Flag in a Row?
At the Moment we don't know who will get Better and who will get Worse

Ive been looking at the fixture for two months now and I am not happy with it
Can we get the AFL to swap round 4 with round 23?

They even get lucky with injuries the scum dirt bag team, Shazza gets a year, and the appropriately named Roughhead is back second half of the year.

Softcock Bruest will have to get physical. There is no guarantee Roughhead will be back when they said either..

with him gone id expect every single team to set up a defence pattern with that in mind. it's a huge blow to them and they need to tested every game as psyically hard as possible. gunston needs to be crunched every time he goes near it. ravioli should have his nose broken at least 5 times this year. bruest should be snapped in half as well and mitchell and hodge stretchered of through out the season. show no mercy for these knats.
