I think Hawthorn will win but I'd love the Eagles to upset them!

Hawthorn will certainly have the home ground advantage this time around but I'm hoping that was the rusty eagles performance out of the way and next week they bring it big time.

The Hawks have the experience and they will be playing unsociable footy once again! The battle in the midfield is going to be interesting Lewis is will have to hurt a few early otherwise he is gonna be chasing eagle tails for most of the night.
Kennedy was fantastic tonight, as he has been all year considering his injury, absolutely rises to the occasion and will be the key to eagles chances. Hawks forward line may once again have to sacrifice Hill, Puop and Cyril to go into the midfield more often than not to inject some pace and If they are going to get their fair share of midfield clearances but still should be at a height advantage with Roughhead!
Eagles will try to work the ball into space without loosing possession more by hand ball than foot (a bit like us!) And kick to advantage of the forwards making sure backs like Lake have to run. If they bomb it in like tonight Hawks will get em on the rebound. Something tells me the Hawks will win it again!
But I hope Wello gets his second premiership medallion!

The Hawks have the experience and skills, the Eagles have the passion. I'm hoping the Eagles get the flag

Forecast at this stage is for 28 degrees.
Surely that helps the eagles.

Yep, I didn't know the forecast. Instead of Eagles by 83, I now go for Eagles by 89.

Hottest grand final since 1987 or have their been temperatures like that in Grand Finals between 1988 to 2014?

For the first time since 77 grannie, im not watching the game. I flatly refuse to watch another grand final with the cheating piss and poop in it, ive had a [snip] gutful of the pricks, fed up, cant stand them, i cannot even bear to see them run out. Im going fishing, with no radio, tv, and phone, and the brown and gold whorthorn can ram it up their sniping If the eagles get up, i will be plesantly surprised.

28 degrees with 25 to 35 km/h northerly winds.
Surely the combination of heat and wind that may have an affect on Hawthorns kicking game cancels out the home ground advantage.
Game on.
