I am barracking for all the Interstate teams. A Freo/Wet Toast Grand Final would be awesome. :D

I'm not sure if I'm being influenced because I hope Adelaide win but I think they will in an upset.

North to beat the Swans.

Go Hawks!

I want HAW to go all the way!

So are Adelaide as hopeless as I thought after I watched them last week, or are they just lulling Hawthorn into a false sense of security? No defensive ability at all.

Two minutes into the second quarter and Hawthorn lead by 44 points.

Adelaide need to stack on a blue. So many hawk players with priors this year. Couldn't stand those smarmy poo and piss fans for another year. I only know one Freo supporter over here and she is a 16 year who has to put up with her Dad following Hawthorn. The Hawk forward line is as open as a sailors wallet on payday in Kings Cross.

Well, Hodge just did another high hit that should earn him 6 weeks. So, I suppose he'll be fined.

Adelaide pushing hard, now. Hawthorn still only leads by 45 points. We've got the close one!

The Hawks were too good tonight and never looked like losing. The Crows have to be commended for their season and the way they made the finals after facing huge adversity throughout the season with the death of Phil Walsh but I wasn't surprised that they looked flat tonight after a huge win last week against the Bulldogs.

Why do you want the Hawks to win the flag?

I am concerned that this season looks a little like 2003. In that year, Brisbane lost to Collingwood in the Qualifying Final, then were played into form with two games of circle-work against the Crows and then Sydney. Thus, Collingwood - no doubt thinking Brisbane's hopes had been ended by the QF loss, had to try to do it all again on GF day. The key to Brisbane's comeback (aside from having 14 Brownlow Medallists in their first 15 players, courtesy of the AFL's equalisation arrangements) was getting a soft preliminary final.

This year, it looks like the Wiggles will make the Grand Final. I know it's possible that the winner of tonight's game between Sydney and North might beat them but it's not really looking too likely.

Freo is better than the Swans were in 2003 - and harder - and their home final against the team playing them for a chance at a 3-peat will be played much further from the away-team's home. Hopefully they will either knock the Hawks out with a win or inflict enough physical punishment that the Hawks won't be cherry-ripe on GF day. I'm not confident, though, that Freo won't just play them further into form.
