dave, i went to the game. it was dreadful. i was wondering if it looked bad on tv. the roos are nowhere near it. the bombers weren't good enough to captilise on their lead. both teams overused the ball.

It was a lacklasture game overall! North will probably make the finals purely on experience but they're going nowhere for mine and Essendon are just a complete rabble at the moment.
The highlight of the night was Todd Goldstein's outstanding game! Brilliant game for a ruckman.

An Essendon win would have been better for our finals chances but can't deny the enjoyment of an Essendon loss

It wasn't any better on TV ... Bruce tried desperately to polish a turd in the last q claiming an Essendon player had magnificent hands.
