What does this mean for the VFL team in 2012?

Once again, Kris Pendlebury did not get a rookie spot in the AFL for 2012.

Will he return to Collingwood as the VFL captain? Or will he find a better opportunity elsewhere? My gut feeling says he may leave.

Tom Sundburg also missed out on a selection. I was really hoping to see him get a spot somewhere. In saying that alot of VFL players missed out.

So does Sunny return to the 'Pies VFL team? I really hope he does.

Tom Couch. Not to be confused with Thomas Crouch that just got taken by Melbourne. Will he return to the VFL fold? I thought he played some good games late in the season. Another one I hope to see at Vic Park next year.

Will we offer a role to an expierienced player? In the past we've had Paul Licuria and Damien Peverill captian the club. Could we see a simlier scenario in 2012? If so who?

Also, I'm waiting on the fixture to be released! Anyone know when it comes out?

Dissapointing to see VFL players like Shane Valenti and Matthew Little miss out, as well as our favourite sons K Pendles and Sundberg. Did I read correctly that we were linked with Jarrod Dalton, from Port Melbourne, for the rookie draft? Did he get picked up?

Hope Kris and Tom decide to go around for us again in 2012.

Well to my sadness, "Thomas Crouch" has turned out to be Tom Couch from Collingwood's VFL list.

I'm getting this info from the VFL facebook page. Apparently they spelt his name wrong. I picked up on this during the live feed today, but none of my comments got through.

I'm very happy for Tom to get a chance at AFL footy, but he will be missed down at Vic Park.

I hope he turns out to be a champion and Geelong regret not taking him under F/S. More importantly I hope he returns to Collingwood some day.
