damn damn damn damn damn damn BULLSHIT!

Cannot believe it. I've never seen a better example of being umpired out of a game. We deserved the 4 points.

Pendlebury was appalling. He is my fave, but my GOD he was terrible. What is he doing? ****

Drop Egan and never bring him back.

I've never been this angry.

Drop Egan and never bring him back. Why was Clarke dropped? Great win for the umpires, how many goals to the Bears from frees?

DTM you are way too hard.

No complaints at all. Our lads were terrific.

We all need to read up on that part of the Rule Book that gifts frees to home teams in the last quarter. I simply could not see why they were given, but hey! That means nothing. Zilch.

Brisbane won. Just/

I think we come away with much more dignity. When they go thru the tape post match they will see that they actually fell over the line with considerable assistance from some bewildering umpiring decisions.

We lost the 4 points. I think we will finish higher than this motley crue.

Shattered here too, husband a Collingwood supporter mind you, laughed at me screaming at the TV, I grabbed my daughters bike & threw it right at him, boy did he cop a shock!

Who damn laughs like that when someone is so angry?

We had a couple of chances though with Thomas & Medhurst to goal but that's what happens when you miss, the other side can get a lift & pinch the game.

I am so pi$$ed off right now!
WE WERE ROBBED, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, RIGHT IN FRONT OF MEEE!

Yep thought Marty would have made a difference.

Ben Johnson's skills are not up to AFL standard......Chris Egan went missing and thats pretty much where we lost it, we needed something from one of those two.
We played well despite the injuries to two of our better players in Cloke and Goldsack, but we needed someone else to make a mark, beside the usual stalwarts in Burns, Shaw, O'Bree, Didak, Lockyer, etc.

What was with all those free kicks, I had a snowy reception but those high free kicks did not look like they were there, talk about kicking the cat around the room, man o man it was frustrating watching those free kicks and 50 metre penalties

IN: Clarke, Iles,
OUT: Johnson, Egan,

the thing is, i was preparing myself for a loss tonight. It's an away game, second game of the year...i was thinking if we lose, its cool...not too much to worry about

But i am so pissed right now i cant even begin,

blame the umps all you want, we didnt close off the game. 3 kick lead, in wet weather in the final quarter. Damn it. Yes umps didn't help and thats just adding to the frustration.

My summary:

Egan...WTF. Just, WTF. Bring Clarke back

Pendles and Thomas...especially Pendles. Missing in Action. What's going on, is he adjusting to a tag? i Noticed him in the HB line a lot too, why? Anyways for Pendles, it is his second year, really so give him time to adjust.

Fraser and Wood were fantastic as ruckman. Fraser around the ground, I can't see him being a leader at our club. Terrible kicking. I know the conditions were bad, but he seemd to be the only one butchering the ball.

With the wet weather, it was always gonna be a tough game for ROcca and Cloke, they did well and kicked truly early on, but it just got tougher for them. It was up to our little men to stand up, and I think Didak, Leon and Medhurst deserve praise. they went great.

Nathan Brown take a bow, you are doing superbly.

Wakes, its only two games in the season, but im beginning to wonder whether he should have called 2007 his last. He was fantastic in 07 and he is one of my favourites. But does he really have one more go in him?

Burns was dissapointing, sorry champ but not your best game.

Goldsack, Harry, Maxy, -- its a young defence. expect them to get beaten, but when they do, they get beaten valiantly and couragously.

Have I missed anything.....lol. actually i cant even cry right now so....sob.

Okay, I'm a little bit calmer now.

**** Didak is a gun. I love the guy. Best on ground.

IN: Reid, Clarke.

Out: Johnson, Egan. GOODBYE.

Disappointing of course, but pretty good performance. Lions should be top 4 this year, and we came close to beating them. Let's hope this is just a small bump in the road and we can get back on track next week.

Very Upset to hear umpiring gave the bears the last 2 goals. Thought we where home at the 22min mark following on AfL site.

Shattered. Didak seemed to be controlling the game with Burns. Fraser seemed to win his fair share of hit outs. J. Brown didn't kill us.

So many positives to walk away with, a defeat is a bit hard to take. Especially after reading that Voss article.

Seemed we could have really blew them away in the third quarter but didn't take all our chance's. When we went down by almost 4 goals, I thought we would hit back. Was great that we did. A few young player's learnt something hopefully.

Go pies

Stiff, boys played well. Could have gone our way with luck. Probably the better of the two sides.
