Has anyone heard who Collingwood are targeting to be there VFL Contracted Players?

One player who won't be back, and Eddie Smith will be beside himself with this news, is Jason Cloke.

He has just signed a two year deal to play for Williamstown.

C'mon Tess, admit the rumour or deny it!

East Burwood is to be named as the feeder club for the VFL side, with 20 players named as VFL-listed players.

Another rumour doing the rounds is that James Byrne will be leaving Geelong (VFL) and heading to Lexus, as he is a buddy of Licca.

They could offer him a million a year and he wouldnt come back

Suprised it is official though, whilst he isnt likely to get picked up with Knights saying he is going for youth, I thought he might wait untill after the draft just to see

grant ford from bendigo would be a good pick up. Toby Thoolen's good mate and winner of the b&f last season.

Mark Stone was on SEN before and confirmed Carmody and Crow...as well as a possibility of James Byrne jumping camps from Geelong to Collingwood

Ryan Colbert, James Wall and Liam Jarrah are all training with the C'wood VFL squad. A player with Dimatinna might also be down there, not sure of the first name.

Luke Griffen a 19y/o from the Wangaratta Magpies is also training with us. Fresh off a flag last year so will bring the hunger for more. This kid is a very neat package good user of the pill, can grab it above his head, doesnt shirk a contest, chases and tackles, only problem is Dale Thomas come to mind when i think of his size. The quote "this kid would be the best player in the country if hes was 10 kilos heavier" was heard coming from an afl club rep about the boy to.

Word I heard today is there have been a couple of WAFL and SANFL players training with the group and look to have been signed already. I will know more after Weds when I catch up with a few people at training.
