Out: Toovey, Licuria, Cook

In: Pendlebury, Clarke, Buckley.

Cook doesn't deserve to be out, but with those three ins, I can't think of who should go out.

EDIT: Didak may be back too, geez I dunno who to drop. Possibly Johnson even?

So in conclusion: IN: CLASS, SPEED OUT: LACK OF CLASS, LACK OF SPEED

If we play anywhere near like we did against the Tigers we will get pumped. Having said that, I believe we can win and spoil that scums 300th.

Go PIES
Go Pies - I was there in 1977, 1979, 1990, 2003, 2010, 2011, 2018

Honestly, after the past 3 insipid weeks I don't know what to expect. All I want is a decent fight. No more capitulations, it's time to stand together and fight. The next 3 weeks should be our Stalingrad or Alimo. Better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.

Well said, comrade! Let this be our Dzerzhinsky Tractor Factory!

All year our strength has been the kids: their run, their tackling, their never-say-die approach. We need to go with that - for our older, slower stalwarts cannot deliver the goods, we already know that, from 2002, from 2003, and most of all from 2007.

We play the likes of Dick, Cox, Clarke, Iles, and the best and fairest "youngster" of them all, Wakelin. We let the plod squad fall by the wayside: we pick on form instead of reputaton: out go Licca and BJ, in come the youngsters. If they can't do it, no-one on our list can.

If we cannot beat Melbourne this week we are in trouble. Our past games are W L W L W L so we must be due to win. They could not win for the Revs last game they won't win for Neiter. My tip is Bucks to come straight back into the seniors. If he is going to break down it may as well be in the senior squad.

Outs could be Toovey, Lica, O'Bree (I reckon he is injured), Medhurst ( he has not adjusted to the team play) Bryan

Ins Bucks, Pendles, Richards, Clarke, Dick

Time for a good old early 90s MM bake I think, get away from the philosophical Mick or the teaching Mick into the angry moustakaed tyro of yore.

Drop the carthorses, play the colts I say! Let Brad Dick bring some excitement back into the team.

Onward comrades, although it will be interesting to see who is "rested" (hopefully Licca! 40 winks!)

Oh, I forgot, as a kid, Russell Robertson broke my calculator by kicking it off a balcony, so get stuck into him Clem!

Forget about the Top 8. Forget about percentage. Forget about last week. Forget about ladder positions. Forget about milestone games. Forget about resting players and long-term plans

REMEMBER Queens Birthday 2005, 2006, 2007.

I've never seen a Melbourne supporter before! Thought they were like the Dodo or David Neitz's hair, how quaint!

Awwww, and they know the club song, that's adorable! So fierce!

Yes, they're a very rare species. They are mostly seen early in the Season, usually very vocal and make a great display, but come May/June, they go to the mountains to hibernate and are not seen until the start of the next Season, being late February/early March, when the cycle begins again.
