Would almost be the first game this year we will go in with an unchanged line up.

I penciled this game as an easy win a couple of weeks ago now im not to sure it'll be that easy.

Should win though, its hard to see how they can stop our tall forwards, Trav and Pebs.

The bears are playing good football and we will need to be focussed to win this game. We should win but how many times have we lost these games. They are not as bad as the ladder position. Rocca needs to kick 5.

They have won there last three games, making them the team with the third most games in a row won at the moment behind Geelong and The Roos. Their percentage is 104.5 only a couple of points behind ours. They are outside the eight by 1 and a half games and still genuinely believe they are a chance to make it. They have just ended the career of a premiership coach and that must feel good. They have a champion centre half forward who is returning to career best form if goals kicked is any indication. They have a midfeild that includes Lappin, Black and Power, three premiership mids who are experienced in playing us in big games. They kicked 25.13 in their last match.

We should not take this one lightly.

With a shrinking injury list and our side returning to full strength over the coming weeks we need to play our best footy and gel the team to create some momentum going into the finals. Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide are all still in the hunt for a top eight place and we are the game they are hunting. This rubbish about a dream run is precisely that, rubbish.

All that said we should win because we are a better team playing better, harder footy.

We need to go out there and end the Lions season the way they ended Pagan's career, we need to get some percentage and land some hits and bury the ghosts of the past on the road to a glorious future.

GO PIES!

They Are playing good footy but have only beaten melobourne and Carlton and and out of form west coast...hopefully our forward line will be too strong with Trav, Rocca and fraser floating forward. we will run them of there feet. Does anyone now if simon black will play

I think that Merrit & Brennan actually provide an excellent match-up for C3 and Rocca.

I believe this is a huge game where we must play well to withstand an in form side, but if we play well we will get up and continue our march to September, with Brown only kicking a max of 4 goals. GO PIES! PIES BY 38 POINTS!

You'd reckon we could knock this mob off but coming off a relatively close one against the Bombers that should have been a % builder, this will be another hard fought game.

Bombers are a 10 goal better side than Carlton. Do not underestimate how good our 1st half was. That was premiership winning stuff.

Brisbane have done nothing to suggest that anything has changed from our clash at the Gabba earlier this year.

Gold Jacket by 10th min 4th quarter in what will be our best win for the season and will give us the impetus to have a really strong finals campaign.

Go Pies!!!

UGG....i hate that stupid ugly @#$! brennan! i hate that fact that he thinks hes SO good, but only does it when he feels like it! hes dumb
C3 will run rings around him, he wants the ball too much for brennan, runs too hard, is too big for him, will tackle the living daylights out of the brennan and his terrible hairstyle. (not that im biased  )

However, Merrit v Rocca will be a good one.
Gotta watch for Copeland in the forward like, hes taking too much pressure off brown, take copeland out of the forward line and the ball will continuely go to brown, which of course presti/harry will punch away, pick up, hand ball to heater....and away we go

Yes great point...if the ball always goes to Jonathon Brown it gets to predictable and teams start to pick it off. Copeland helps Brown and goes under the radar.

To beat both Essendon and Brisbane (then Carlton next week) twice in a season would be very nice indeed.
