I believe we just need to WIN yet a BELTING would be fantastic and much needed for our % and top four hopes.

We lose this game in the past and I am really hoping that this time we beat them twice for the first time since 1995. A horrible stat against my most hated side.

Lets end their season and roll on to September, spewing I cant be there, MAGPIE ARMY GIVE THEM HELL!

Pies by 35 points!

forget about percentage. I doubt we'll need it. As long as we win 5/7 games we're pretty assured of a top 4 spot, which will be as good as finishing first. Having said that, I reckon we'll thump the Bumbers this week. Pies by 68 points.

A loss this week would be our biggest dissapointment of the year.

But a healthy percentage wouldn't hurt, either! :D

We haven't beaten Melbourne for years, so it wasn't not expected.

This is all or nothing for the Bombers, according to Sheedy straight after their loss last week.
I'm expecting a desperate Essendon and looking for the Pies to really be "up" for this one.

Hate losing to Sheedy's mob.
Just hope last week didn't take too much out of our boys.

Cmmmooonnnnn Pies!!!![/b]

A must win, simply to keep the spirits (and percentage) up.

I don't care what other sides do (though I'll keep a weather eye on them) - all we can do is simply focus on the task at hand (Essendon) and win as best we can.

Be only the second time his year I'm not barracking for the Bombers. And yes, the first time was Anzac Day. I have a big soft spot for Essendon and hope they make the finals (though with their injury worries, that's looking a bit doubtful now).

But when it comes to Essendon v Collingwood, then have no doubt: I'm a Pies supporter all the way! I hope we thump them!

In reality we have to win this week, as it's odds-on that we will drop a game or two to one of the bottom-of-the-table sides we play, and the Adelaide game could go either way, so if we are going to finish top four we need to beat Essendon.

In a hard-fought game with a few lead changes along the way, Pies by 17 points!

(And if it's 117 points, that's just fine by me.)

I've got a soft spot for the Bombers as well - it's nestled in between the cheeks of my arse....sorry Tannin, but I couldn't resist.

I know the Anzac Day clash hold a special spot in evey Pie supporter for that very reason alone. Anzac Day

I have to say though that this game, for reasons completely different, is a little more important.

We need this one and we will win.
