WTF happened? Daniel Kerr sneak into our rooms at half time and spike their drinks with horse tranquillisers??
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Not overly surprising. We have a young list and they are going to have their ups and downs. Pity that it happened against the Bulldogs seeing as how they beat us in the elimination final, but still I thought there were some positive signs from some of the younger players.

Yes he spiked all our drinks and made them all dopey, well I think they were dopey before that ;) But it ruined our day.

Rocca is a disgrace in front of goals.
Didak yet again goes missing against the dogs and Thomas needs to focus on game, not hair.

Just got home. VERY disappointing second half. They absolutely ran all over us from about 1/2 way thru 3rd quarter. Disappointing because although I wasnt all that confident about beating them today, I thought it would be good to measure ourselves against a good side....and I think we fell way short.

Kicking in front of goal was very ordinary in second half (and after all those great goals in the 2ND Q.). Bullies ran and ran and had loads of open space...they made us look very, s l o w........

PS. Only 47,000 there in the end, think the 'sell out' talk before the game scared alot of people off.

Our kicking for goal finally cost us a game.

Rocca in the first quarter... 25m slight angle - misses everythin
Heath Shaw in the third quarter, 15 m out minimal angle, misses
Rocca in the third quarter again... see first quarter
Swan in the final quarter, 15m out slight angle, misses

Rocca wasn't just missing he was missing by A LOT, seriously flawed kicking. We should have have been 7-8 goals up half way through the 3rd and the game would have been dead and buried.

Kicked ourselves out of it.

Goal kicking has threatened to hurt us for a month. Fortunately our opponents have been equally as bad as us. Today it came back to hurt us. Doggies are unreal on the rebound. We had as much of the ball in the 3rd quarter, but missed 6 shots on goal. Dogs kicked a goal off 4 of those behinds. It was goal kicking which turned the game. Once the dogs got a sniff they were unstoppable.

Here here.

And on Thomas, I reckon he has to go back to basics, but he was not the worst.

Rocca missing the easy one kills us around 4 times a year, this is the first time for the year.
Overrun and out worked in the second half, players that have been relied upon for the past 7 weeks couldn't get the job done today.
Not the worst result and the first half performance showed what we are capable of. Kids needed to see how another team overruns and hurts an opposition unit. Some need a rest to get the bodies right, a few senior players need to lift.
