Pre Match: Collingwood vs. Carlscum

Post by Johnson#26 »

Let's get in early, this promises to be a beauty.

We already know Cox, Neon and Egan will be out, with Clement and Presti requiring tests (http://www.voy.com/51976/96249.html)

Meddles, Holland and Didak are all strong chances to return, while I'm sure MM will look at the likes of Goldsack, after his reportedly stirling form for Williamstown and apparant want to blood youth.

Clement is in serious doubt, had scans today. Presti will play.

Massive game, a win really sets up the season. These are the games that we must win to finish top 4.

Come on pies, fire up...

THIS IS THE SCUM!!!!

Just a bit of concern with Clement, but if we win in the midfield, It shouldn't be a concern if he isn't in. I would be worried if we were playing a decent team.
May the seeds of hope bloom into the eurphoria of success. Go Pies

I'm salivating at the thought of having the twin guns of Dids and Medhurst firing either side of Rocca. Let's hope it's this week. No doubt Dutchy will come straight back in as well.

Well I think it's safe to say that (providing injuries come up okay) Didak, Medhurst & Holland will come in for Cox, Davis & Egan.

I think if Presti & Clement don't come up they'll be replaced by Goldsack (based on reports from Willi) & Wakes (obvious replacement). If Didak or Medhurst don't come up maybe Mick will debut another first or second year player.

In: Didak, Medhurst, Holland, Wakes
Out: Cox, Davis, Egan, Clement (inj)

Let's face it, those changes wouldn't be too bad. Hopefully Clement will pull up.

If we are what we think we are we should expect nothing short of a massacre.

We will definetly be favoured to smash them.... but when they play us they do rise to the occasion! As they did last year. Hope it's like last year when they give their supporters hope until the last quater where we cane them with a 10 goal last......

There is no way MM will risk Jimmy. Give him the week off I say, we need him to get 100% right, Wakes is the obvious replacement. Medhurst and Dids are a perfect swap for Leon and Egan.

Who replaces Cox is the big question. Could be a surprise youngster - we have a history of blooding new kids on the big stage ie: the G in front of 60,000 plus.

Dutchie is no certainty after not playing footy in match conditions for so long. Start at Willie I say.

Got it in two words Cam.

We will still make the finals if we lose, but we are aiming for the GF and to be a serious contender it is time to cock both barrels and do to the Scum what Geelong just did to Richmond.

Harry's next assigment will be either of Fev-vulva or the Burger-meister himself, Lance Phatnell, and I am looking forward to watching the H-Bomb humiliate these clowns. Nobody attacks the player and the ball with the intensity that Harry does and the Umps are quite correctly viewing his close checking as fair and legal.

Scotty Burns and the Tarko Man are irrepresible. Heater and Rhyce are the dynamic duo and....wait for it.....one #40 (Reject?) has got a huge point to prove.

Go Pies!!!!!

Danger game I don't think. We've stamped ourselves as the number 1 Melbourne side and everyone knows it. The discipline of this side won't allow us to take it easy even on a piss poor side like Carlton. We expect to win and I reckon the carlton guys expect us to too. A quality, finals-playing side as we hope to be this year uses a game like this as a percentage booster.

I can't wait for it.
