Awesome AWESOME AWESOME
Never been wronger, never been happier about it. Heath Shaw was magnificent, Bucks in his prime didn't play any better than that. Rhyce Shaw ran and tackled and ran and tackled and pressured and kicked it straight. Sir Scott stood up in the last quarter as if age could never weary him. Dale Thomas was a star on the wing. Tarks just kept on producing as he hasn't done for years but certainly has this year.
Harry did a fantastic job on one of the very best forwards in the comp - Lucas is bigger and vastly more experienced, but Harry was up to the task. Didak shoed a bit with more to come as he gains match form.
Hell, I could list nearly the whole team.
Just a fantastic effort.

Here's how I saw the 22 today:
Chris Bryan: Exceeded expectations in his first game. May be what we need in the ruck.
Scott Burns: Keeps up his brilliant form. 26 disposals, easily one of our best.
James Clement: As good as always. Umpire crucified him in first quarter, but after that took Lloyd out of the game.
Travis Cloke: Big improvement on last week. Played really well, although kicking for goal was poor.
Shannon Cox: Gets better every week. This guy is fast becoming a permanent fixture in the defence, today was superb.
Leon Davis: A little quiet. Tried hard, though.
Brad Dick: Doesn't get much of the ball, but doesn't he use it well. Game breaking goal in last quarter.
Alan Didak: Far better than I thought he would be. Kicked three goals, and was dangerous whenever he got the ball.
Josh Fraser: Probably one player who didn't have his best game today. All the same, did well in ruck contests.
Ben Johnson: A little quiet, but he kicked one really good goal.
Tarkyn Lockyer: Good game, kicked two goals and generally did his job.
Nick Maxwell: A little quiet, but held his ground.
Shane O'Bree: I thought he was alright. Some great one percenters.
Harry O'Brien: One of his best games. Dominated Lucas early, then stood up all day in defence. Several hard ball gets.
Scott Pendlebury: Continued his good form.
Simon Prestigiacomo: Didn't really have many touches, but does he ever? I thought he was good, a little odd though that he didn't take one of the major forwards.
Anthony Rocca: Only downside was poor kicking at times, but he still managed three goals and took some big marks in the forwardline.
Heath Shaw: What can you say? Countless acts of courage, 32 possessions, pinpoint disposal. Easily best afield.
Rhyce Shaw: In great form. 26 disposals, and an almost flawless performance.
Dane Swan: Not his greatest match, but still had a serviceable game.
Dale Thomas: A little quiet. Still stood up when he was needed.
Alan Toovey: Possession count wasn't massive, but he had a really good game. Made a bad mistake in the last but apart from that was solid.
We didn't have any passengers today. There are still some who need improvements in their game, but this was a 22-man effort. Great result

awesome game..
i still reckon burnsy was best on ground.. but oh well..
simply because he gets the possessions in and under.. mostly contested and heath gets a shitload of possies without an opponent.. but heath played well..
i still would have prefered david hille to be playing so that they dont have a valid bloody excuse for losing..
and what the hell is with jobe watson? how does he get a game in AFL, he would struggle in a West Heidelberg game..
well played Burns, Both Shawrys, Bryan for a first game and a good return from didak.. and Obrien for keeping Lucas quiet, not an easy task.
Clement was good, but i think Lloyd got the wood on him overall for the day with his 3 goals..
Umpiring average as usual.. but im getting used to it now..

WHAT A FANTASTIC WIN!!!
We just kept going and going after the 1st couple of minutes, our pressure and tackling are superb! If only we could kick straight the game would have been over in the 3rd qtr.
I think we have found ourselves a ruckman....Chris Bryan ..welcome to the Collingwood FootballClub!! (ps...goodbye richards....i wont miss u)
Heath Shaw..simply sensational......if he keeps his form up he could wrap up the copeland in no time!
O'Brien....kept Lucas to no goal and some nice defensive work...well done!
Cloke...apart from his accuracy..has presented as a target at CHF that we hope he'd be....could this be the start of the beginning for him??
Lokyer....i've been a basher of him b4 this yr...but geez hasnt he impressed so far....his courage..hardness..and most of all..lovely kicking that our team desparately needs!
Didak.....a return in style!! how much have we missed his class and creativity! imagine if medders was also in the side!
Pendles...not the most impressive today but i just love watching this kid play! never panicked under pack situation....good skills...and today we also witnessed his hardness over the ball....this kid will be the future of collingwood!!
so many other players that worth mentioning....but right now i'll just soak up the victory and enjoy it as much as i could!
go pies!!!
