Pendles has been good, Rocca has really been presenting up forward, and Rhyce has had a lot of the ball. Presti has been playing one of his best games for the season, but Clement has been quiet. Of the younger players, Toovey had a great first quarter but didn't get much of it in the second, Cox has been really good and Dick hasn't been on the ground much.

Wet conditions, plenty of tough stuff. Sounds like we should be further in front (missing another finisher like Medhurst?), but have been inefficient going forward.

Conditions are obviously bad but it has been the Pies who have had the better of play. Have not been ablt to put it on the board though.

Pies winning all parts of the game bar the clearances wear Lade is dominating. Richards is just out of his depth. We have missed some chance we should have taken. Umps cost us a goal with a 70m penalty for Chad to.

Rocca, Pendles, Shaw boys, Burns, Thomas, Lockyer all doing well. Trav trying hard - kciking lets him down.

OB hardly sited, Davis being a bit cute, Toovey great first qtr although his man got a bit of it. Maxy good on Chad C but Chad still having influence. Clement going ok but made 2 mistakes both which cost goals.

Look for Licca, OBree and Swan in second half.

Cox playing well albeit made a bad error and Dic* quiet.

Great game to watch, and plenty of encouragment for the future. Cox looks like he belongs at this level, and Thomas is all class. The Shaw brothers are giving us tremendous run out of defence and Maxwell has been sensational.

Lades is having a great game, but Fraser and Richards are holding and Burns, Thomas, and Johnson are winning enough clearances for us to win.

Really exciting match, only one point in it. Let's hope we can get over the line.

Would hate to lose this and go into a game with an insane three day break. Are Essendon playing undercover at the dome? You would think that would be an advantage for them next week if they are.

I have been watching the game and even though it has been wet,the umpiring has been inconsistent, the guys have played like a back yard team and Port sort of deserve their lead,BUT some of the umpiring decisions in the last quarter have been very touch & go.....6 1/2 minutes to go and port infront by 12 points,....is it game over or can the PIES get the two goals needed??????

Port just kicked another goal....goodnight Pies.....sorry about that,BUT you havent played at all in the last quarter...Port are playing with more purpose
