armchair view of the pies loss to the bithches

Absoutely magnificent day in WA,not a cloud in the sky,22 degrees.
Of course with the wet toast playing at home today our game isnt on free to air and once more thank GOD for foxfooty.
Live and exclusive in my house is the blockbuster pies v tigers.

Since i did my back i havent been able to do my usual thing sunday mornings,which was 9 holes of golf at the local and then a few at the nineteenth before seting up to watch the footy.

So this week i played golf on the computer instead,then set myself up out in the warm of a WA winter out on my patio,chair and esky strategically placed,bbq lit for half time sustenance.
what a way to spend a day!

Bucks won the toss as usual and pointed to the right of screen or for those not conversant with the MCG he pointed towards cody street which runs along side my house.

geezus its not the same weather there as here,wet as a shag,cold as ice and the balls a piece of soap.
the only thing cold here is the beer.
Its going to be a slogathon,and by the looks of our early possesions a fumbleathon too.

first goal goes to the enemy after for some reason harry got reported,but it wouldnt have got down there if lika had passed better to taz.
Immediate signs early are that we are set up wrong.

only highlight of the qtr was a bit of biffo just before the siren but they kicked a goal out of krackers arse just on the siren and go in 4.5 to 2 points up[

looking fwd to our rvival in the 2nd term,2 minutes in i get called inside as my son and his fiancee and our granddaughter turn up to discuss their wedding plans in oct.
by the time i got rid of them and went back outside its 10 secs to half time with the score 9.9 to them and 1.2 to us
so i missed most of that and so did the coaching staff by the look of the score.

during half time as they showed the highlights? i wondered if this was really happening or if it was a replay of the 81 GF.

hoping like hell for a twigging of the set up and purpose i watched it all,but i now wish i hadnt

a basically piss poor performance and in the end we were lucky to get as close as we did

13.14 to 4.5 tells it all

very disappointed at the non efforts of egan,TC and wakes although to be fair wakes was a victim of MMs madness to play players out of position.
i heard on the radio that the tigers had a video and talk session from tom hafey a few hrs prior to the game and were primed to fire.

only bet ive had all weekend was 50 on the dogs,i hate wet toast as much as most of you melb supporters hate bitchmond.
