I thought MM's tactic of saving Fraz for the last 15 minutes would backfire on us.
Richards actually stepped up for once after we had 2 goals against us in the first 3 minutes of the last.

First it was such a great win, against the Lions. The game changed when Buckley was in the foward line. I was getting very worried at the beginning of the last qtr when they were in the lead, overall great performance and are a great third qtr as per usual. Looking foward to the big game next week on Queen's birthday.

Buckley stamped his authority didnt he. I thought midway through that 3rd quarter that our fortunes were turning with injuries and brisbane hitting the lead by 2 goals.

ENTER Nathan Buckley. Everyone lifted around him.

The injuries are a sour point, but will give us the option to test our depth now and see what we are really made of.

Injuries just mean that perhaps we play a cloke, or that thomas will get straight back in, or perhaps davies or egan or rhyce will get a run. Wakes was fantastic tonight on the 6'4 creampuff mr bradshaw.

What a great effort PIES! - Gutsy win with all the injuries, Dids came of age as a midfielder! brilliant last quarter effort. Bucks.. what can you say that hasn't been said already.. he is the perfect leader. Heater great again! Leon went missing when the game was in the balance, but in previous years he may not have come back.. was pleased he got himself back in the game again.

Great test against a defensive team with physical presence.. and our confused forward structure held up well in the end against good defenders...

Brions were pretty cut at the end, Voss looked like the realisation had set in.. and Brown visibly pissed off !!

Loved it! !

I might go out on a limb,.. This is THE season defining win of 2006
