the youngest list in the AFL totally undermanned and underrated never really looked like losing against freo tonight.

Bucks won the toss,Josh the first tap,Bucks the first clearance,taz takes the nights first mark and umpire woodcock is the first ump to be booed for the night,all in the first minute.

we have all the play early but score only behinds then from a kick in freo score a goal.
sandilands won every centre bounce tap but the pies took every clearance.
Collingwood havent won in the ruck for over 3 years so putting a 7 ft 4 giant in didnt change the way we play,in fact it helped.
Josh even ended up with half his taps himself as the pies relentlessly but wastefully went fwd.
leon crumbed a goal and looked sharp.
Obree was on fire,he must have read my post suggesting he be traded,and wants me to eat my words.more of the same cheesy and i will gladly eat them.

Lonie marks and goals after a series of points from easy shots to Taz,Rhyce,Lika and Bucks.

Lonie is no good man on man,he looks timid to me ,but he looks ok when running free and recieving.
A kid 6 ft 2 like him should be stronger in one on one contests,hes losing me lately.
Luckily for the pies freo have their best player pavlich doing the same as lonie,just holding back and recieving,but he had nothing to recieve.

Both freos goals in the qtr came from kick ins where no pies touched the footy.
after all the easy misses ika banged a banana on the run thru the middle to give us a 14 pt lead at qtr time 3.9 plays 2.1

freo had changed longmire to the ruck and he was catching it on the full a lot and sending freo fwd.

Bucks obree and leon score more points and at half time the pies had convincingly won every thing but only led by 21 points.

third term begins with leon taking a strong pack mark and goals.
freo got that back within 10 seconds from the next clearance.
leon left foot passes to taz who goals from 40 then follows up with a poster as we continue to dominate the game.

woey takes a very corageous mark but misses from 30 with his kick. grrrr.
freo goal again from the kick in.
then after all the set shots missing king kicks it over his head without looking and jags a much needed goal.
freo got that back in no time from the next clearance.
lokan has me shouting his name in vain as he meekly turns it over again and freo get too close for comfort.
brodie takes a strong mark and goals to steady the ship,then tarks and woey finish the night off with a couple of goals each

the most wasteful side in AFL history has won 3 in a row,

leon was terrific,like john holmes at a girls school he was in everything.
Clement played 3 qtrs with a broken cheekbone,
woey was good but also wasteful.
Josh was thrashed in the ruck duels but won around the ground.
cole was beaten by farmer ,he played too losse.

Justin Crow is a keeper,i liked his first effort,a summer in the gym and he and guy can gice us a ruck combination we have craved for.
then josh can go fwd more.and mckee can go away.

what ive seen last few weeks from lonie and lokan make me think we can be better witout the 2 of them.

still a very rough chance for the 8 if sides above us keep losing,we play them ourselves so our destiny isnt set yet.
