Not the best game of all time. Pies will be struggling to name 22 blokes next week with the amount of injuries and possible reports out of this game.

Someone forgot to tell CFC about the tactic of the TANK, and how to apply it.

Despite all the injuries i fail to see how Shane O'Bree could be in our best 22 next week.

Good effort by the boys though, it was nice to see Walker get some touches.

sdmonkey 82 shane o bree played alright he certainly wasn't the worst. But he did do some nice things. He did rack up around 17 posi's or so, that's an improved effort from recent weeks!
Lets just enjoy the win! Although, the injuries are a worry....I don't think Williamstown will have much of a Senior team by next week :P GO PIES!

At one stage during the last quarter when we were 15 points up and the game in the balance, I found myself humming the tune from F Troop as we advanced forward in a desperate scramble of mis-timed passes.
Dogs kicking as they did helped.
Still, valuable game time for a lot of the young guys and Richards, though inaccurate had some presence. Promising signs...
And the last goal of the night, marking contest, Bucks vs 3, creates the contest and the ball clears to Lonie while Bucks has taken all 3 Bulldogs out of the play, great work!

Scoreboard flattered us. That game was in doubt 20 minutes into last quarter. Then a flood of goals in junk time.

I reckon the Bulldogs would have won if Darcy (in particular) could have kicked straight.

Inspirational work from Buckley.
Promising stuff from Tex.
Burns magnificent.
Fraser magnificent.
Shaw might have saved his career with that effort (not sure if I'm pleased about that)
Lonie made some important contributions.

All in all ... given the long absentee list ... I would say it was a very pleasing start to our 2005 pre-season.

17 possessions and about 8 turnovers. His kicking is a disgrace.
Do not adjust your mind. The fault is in reality.

good win by the magpies BUT we were lucky if the bulldogs kicked straight for goals it would of been a different story. for the bulldogs to get within 1 goal of us i think in the 4th quater just shows were we are at the moment!!!
