NO MATTER what Andrew Gaze thinks, there will be no international comeback for Melbourne Tigers teammate Mark Bradtke.

Impressed with his NBL form, Gaze last week called on the Boomers to invite Bradtke into the training squad for next year's Olympics in Athens.

But not having played for the Boomers since the 2000 Olympics, Bradtke has no intention of gatecrashing the national team's 2004 lead-in and is content to stay in international retirement.

"The Boomers have been training hard as a team and a squad for a long time and I don't want to disrupt that," Bradtke said yesterday.

"As nice as it would be to go to the Olympics, I don't think it would be the right thing to try to do."

With 16.4 points a game and 14.8 rebounds for the Tigers, Bradtke has again been the best Australian big man in the NBL this season.
