Now they are going to put nicknames on the back of jumpers. As if somehow we do not know who Pendlebury and Dangerfield are. Aiming at 5-12 year olds which does not surprise. If you have names why bother with numbers. If we lose a player through injury to this rubbish I will spew.
Annoying opposition supporters since 1967.

I for one am actually looking forward to Friday Night. Why? Well I want to see what Team Deadly are capable of. From a very young age Ive loved watching the magic that the Indigenous boys produce. The flair, the dare, the unexplainable.
I think Team Deadly will have some great Chemistry and assume they will be electrifying to watch. Leaving us looking forward to the next time we are privileged to see another Indigenous All Star team in action. Shame Buddy is not involved though...
I always thought that if Aussie Rules never existed, Australia would be head and shoulders above Teams like England in the World Game. And some of our Indigenous boys would be some of the most expensive players money can buy for big clubs like Chelsea and Man Utd.
I guess we will never know...

Friday night when this crap is on, I'll be watching Kangaroo Jack: G'Day USA on NITV
When poachers kidnap Jackie Legs from the Australian outback, his friends leap into action. Their attempts to save him route them back to the US, into the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas.
Sounds way more appealing to me

"The AFL has been offering free and discounted tickets for Friday night's stand-alone event at Marvel Stadium and has declined to release a crowd estimate.
...
The eight-a-side games will feature minimal contact, while players have been encouraged to engage in on-field banter and "express their personalities" by choosing their own pre-game outfits.
...
No injuries were reported during last year's tournament but AFL clubs remain wary of the concept."
