First blood to the weagles. Maybe they've woken up and are ready to play. They've kicked 5 of the last 7 goals!

Yeah I think they're done. Whorks have all the answers now. They're toying with them and are bringing out the party tricks. Weagles have no hard nuts willing to make the sacrifice to win the hard ball.

Will be interesting to see what sort of game it'll be when we play wce as we both play the zone style and like to overpossess the footy, ensuring everyone gets on the stat sheet.

They were done 10 minutes into the first quarter. We were just both hoping they'd make a game of it. Hawks lead 68 to 35.

Meanwhile, the Blues, I'm sad to say, are suddenly 7 points behind Sydney. There is no truth to the rumour that the Swan have had the last 40 disposals (but all good things come to those wait).

darling kicks another one. 68-41. Yeah wishful thinking that the weagles were going to show up the whorks today. The swans should do a number on the scum one would think. How many's buddy kicked?

None, yet. Sinclair has 2 and Tippett the other.

cripps nails one 76-49. they're making hard work of it though. whorks still have them covered whenever they try and clear out of defense. then along comes cyril.

And Sicily, channelling his idol Travis Cloke, misses another sitter. Hawks lead 77-50. This remains close-ish only the scoreboard. If Hawthorn could kick to teammates well enough, they'd be 120 points up.

77-50. weagles trying to do it the hard way. running into an open goal and one handball too many. Should've kicked a goal. They look somewhat dangerous when they decide to go long and quick through the centre - catching the whorks off guard.

Carlton have decided not to touch the ball in the second quarter. The Swans lead 35-20. Franklin's only scoring contribution so far has been to kick a point that enabled the Blues to get their third goal, end to end from the kick-in.

No, wait - he's just kicked anther point Swans lead 36-20.

There are presently only 12 Swans who've had more disposals than Thomas. Swans lead 37-28. Carlton is having a less-worse patch in the middle of the second quarter.

No, wait - Heeney kicks a goal and the Swans get some breathing space 43-28.
