Good fightback in the end, but we just fell short unfortunately

Lynch's numbers suggest that he's close to returning to the senior side.

This game really highlighted, amongst other things, our need for backup key defenders.

A fit Frost or Hartley might have been the difference, given the final scoreline and how Hogan tore Gault apart, who has NFI as a defender. But real kudos to Allan for shutting him down... well done, voice of Buzz!

Krak, Dids and Lynch all in contention to be in the senior side for next week's game against Essendon by the looks of it.

Krak got better as the game went on, was the pick of the senior players. Dids got a few possessions but didn't influence the game. Lynch battled his guts out, worked harder than anyone, but disposal efficiency must have been in single figures.

Despite what it says in the papers, and Krak aside, thought it was the VFL listed players who put in the four quarter efforts and kept us in it.
