WE were the ONLY club silly enough, gullible enough to do a DO BETTER report, the ONLY one. Eddie was assured other clubs would also do one, but it never eventuated, they all ran a country mile. So a few more things have come to light.
1 is that he was employed for less than 6 months, so didn't have access to unfair dismissal. He lodged a claim at fair work and, as they do, will try to mediate an outcome but if they can't, that's the end of it, there's no hearing.

Apparently the reason why they couldn't mediate an outcome is that Cleaver wanted $250k, Collingwood offered $20k which is what is called "Piss Off Money".

I hope the club has reviewed Kelly’s potential flaws as ceo in this episode and ensured his behaviour is suitable for the role. Have always thought Maxy is the CEO in waiting.

If that's the case then what a f#&Kn mess. I know when the club admin starts gettin real quiet is when I begin to worry. So who's next up for CEO? I'd actually consider Michael Christian. Reckon he'd have had a gut full of being the AFL's tribunal whipping boy by now. I also think he has the right demeanor for the job.

Agree Piesnchess but one thing is for certain, you can sometimes fool hack footy journos into writing absolute crap for the consumption of the Collingwood hating ferals. Fools will always be fooled
