The hamburgers are brothers I think.

A web search tells me there are 1.8 million Hamburgers. They must have greater reproductive powers than rabbits.

And, yes, Elliott & Harry are brothers. They don't look particularly similar to me, but maybe if the younger one dyed his hair and grew a ponytail...

The Tiggers played badly before (against the spooner) and after playing us. ...

The good news is that arguably no club is in good form (unless you count StK!). It looks like we're still in the AFL Window of Mediocrity, in which cheap premierships are on offer.
Don’t care how much they are worth, I’ll take it!

Well, that's why it's so frustrating!! There have been three cheap flags on offer, and not only did the "safety net" (GWS) break and not stop the Tiggers from pinching one, we were not able to nab one ourselves last year (and were too incompetent to be a chance the previous two years). Those were wasted opportunities to fill up on cheap flags.

It's frustrating because our good years have coincided with the opposite. e.g. In 2002-3 we ran into the AFL-created monster. Sometimes it's just a matter of good or bad timing.

I did write that the continuation of the Window of Mediocrity is "good news". It's good news because it gives us the chance to fix things this year. Of course, better news would be if we are the club that slams the Window of Mediocrity shut.

If before the season started someone suggested by round 5

a. StKilda and Fremantle would be in front of Collingwood on the ladeer

b. Carlscum would be in front of Melbourne and Sydney.

the sky would be falling.
