I might be wrong but I think Heater got tagged today.
Tagged or the ball didnt get downto their forward pocket much??

Yes...............swapped him for Judd?????
I think a bit of both, mate! I was there and by half time was wondering if WCE had a cheersquad at all! Then they kicked a goal and I thought, oh, there they are! So the goals down there end were pretty few and far between. As for Shawry, I think when he gets tagged like that Mick should stick him in the middle. That was about the only win the WCE had out of the whole game, keeping Heath Shaw quiet!

Yep. Kid has some talent. Didn't show much at Carlton, but will have a future at the weagles.
No he hasn't! Carlton are still laughing. Haven't seen anything at all to suggest he will be a star. Servicable at best.

Rubbish. He definitely looks the goods. Kennedy will be a player

i really think mick didnt mind him getting kept quite

it definately wasnt influencing the game and it kept selwood quite too, he only had 11 possessions himself.

funny day out for heath shaw haha, probably one of his easiest outings. stroll through the park for a 100 point victory

To me, a difference in the inside 50's, particularly in the second half, was that we seemed to see them as opportunities to succeed, where the eagles treated them as a chance to fail. It was amazing to see how far a team has slipped so quickly. Shows how fragile form can be.

The lesson from the last two weeks is that we must remain focussed on playing that relentless style of football against all opponents. It will be hard to maintain, but it gets results.

Great game, great result, made the 500k round trip well worthwhile.

Seeing Kennedy playing well for the eagles was like cream on the cake.

Yea I thought the same thing lol. all we need now is Judd to break down.
( I know i shouldn't think that of a champion but but it would be sweet justice for those carlscum cheats)

Great win - and even better 2 weeks in a row.

Only things I saw in the coverage -
1. S.Cox got shafted by the umpires on several plays,
2. Wellingham is a real good 'spark player' and will be a star,
3. Bryan does the job pretty well and is a good option as Wood get some extra weight,
4. N.Brown is getting better every week,
5. Cloke is the hardest working CHF in the league,
6. As stated on the coverage - Pies have the best 4 small forwards in the AFL,
7. That was the most shepherds I have seen laid by the Pies for many years - and that shows that things are really coming together very well.

On a side note the Tarrant trade will be the best trade the Pies have done for about 20 years.

even wen West Coast kicked 6 in the 2nd qtr, didnt we get 7 anyway?

Awesome win. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (Didak, Medhurst, Thomas and Davis) are on fire.

A few weeks ago we'd have let WCE get within 15 points at the 3 quarter time, hold that lead until the 15 minute mark in the last quarter and then lose the game by 7 points :P

I think its time to give Cox a decent run so who do we drop for Rocca? [quote]

I thought Cox was a little disappointing yesterday, but in fairness he was played at Full forward a fair portion of the day, and it's a difficult position to play well. I'd like to see him continue to get a chance to prove himself, but I suspect it'll be in the backline, and he'll have to get over Goldsack, Presti (maybe) and Anthony. I think he's going to have to be patient.

Fantastic win by the Pies, very even performance by the players, great to see.

I loved Daisy's running 4 bounce goal, starting from behind the centre circle. :D
Swan is down, Swan kicks the goal! And everything here will be a Magpie celebration!

I thought that cox was pretty decent given that he was played 'out of position' and had Glass as an opponent (i think).

I think it was similar to when Jack Anthony debuted in that you couldn't really expect the player to show a great ability to play the position given to him, it was just more about whether they showed abit of class, hard tackling etc. when the ball came near them. I thought Cox looked pretty good when he had the ball, there was a nice smooth one handed pick up at one stage, and one or two other moments that i thought demonstrated good spatial awareness, so i was pretty happy.

If West Coast did not have Cox we would have won by 200 points. He is the best ruckman in the leauge by a country mile. Great win and we need to do the same next week to the Dees.
