went to the game last nite it was great.

the highlights were unreal...

didaks running goal was great.....when swan intercepted and GOALED was great.

medhursts goal was sensational that was the sealer for me the crowd went nuts.

THOMAS... SO FLAIRY...i love it like 3 times he ran along the wing and from the centre bounce to 50 and he missed all his shots.but imagine if he drilled them home.....in the future he is gonna nail them and is gonna be an absolute superstar.

when cloke kicks more accurately he is gonna be the best CHF going around..

RUSLING....WHAT A PICK. how old is he?
he is gonna b e great.
there so many more players that are great but ill leave it at that

GO PIES!

How good was our tackling last night? Don't think I've ever seen so many holding the balls against a team before. Swannies didn't know what hit them. Bloods hey? Ppffffttt

With Dids, Medders and Leon rotating through the midfield, we've now got guys with serious kicking skills that can also pinch a few goals when needed. That's a big plus!

The planets have lined up nicely for the pies in the last few weeks. Bucks & Rusling back was always going to be the missing link. Fraser & Dids off for a rest before the finals before making an impact on return. The momentum is on our side and it's time to dare to dream!
Hearing the 'Black & White Army' roar is the greatest sound in the world.

Living over here in the west, i would have given my left nut to get there (no wait....i lost that one in last years elimination final....)
I think maybe becuase we played an interstate team

Crowd atmosphere and noise amazing - love the way the theme song was being sung in the last qtr. Just a fantastic, warm-and-fuzzy Collingwood feeeling!! Love ya boys!!
You've pretty much summed up my thoughts and general feeling on the game as whole right there Swooper!

Yeah, apart from the shitty commentating, Ten also has problems with losing the picture at times, and I know it's not my tv cos I turn the channel and can get other shows fine. One game - I'm pretty sure it was Adelaide earlier this year - they were out, with nothing but a black screen, for nearly ten seconds. Did anyone catch that?
As for the commentary, Walls doesn't bother me like Voss does. Voss is so anti-Collingwood it's disgusting. You'd think we cheated them out of a premiership, not the other way around! (I'm not even talking about '03 here, we didn't try that year).
To give Walls his due, he does give the Pies credit when it's deserved. Voss acts like everything good we do is a direct consequence of shit decisions by the other team.
But the game - the best I've seen us play in three years, and that includes the game against WCE when we had half the team missing and still beat them. ('05). If we can do that with our rookies, anything's possible. Bring on the Eagles! Friday couldn't come soon enough for me!

Yeah except for that first 50 against Burns - an atrocity - they had a fairly good night, too.

An absolute pearler of a game. Up here in Sydney, it's been great to beat the "Harbour City Heroes" 3 times in a year. They didn't help their cause by including a couple of underdone backman who were continually found wanting.

It was great to see what our forward line can achieve if they get the pill, and they got heaps of opportunities. No passengers for the Pies anywhere on the ground and my admiration for Clarke grows each week.

Can't wait to see Leon cut loose in Perth next week. It must be the water or being close to his family but he always seems to shine in the West.

Thanks Pies. It was great reading the Swans obituries in the local rags this morning.

I reckon Neil Armstrong heard me on the moon shouting on saturday night. Just bloody stoked. Rocca, Heater , Trav, Burnsy. Rocca's goal at the start of the 3rd was awe inspiring. Any one want to bag Rocca after that? After he kicked that, we had those oxford st fosdykes on the ropes. Just so proud at the moment. Lets hope we can back it up over the subi sooks. What about everitt been smashed into the turf by Bucks? Spider looked like an uncordinated piece of pelican shit. Vintage Buckley. Let's kill 'em pies we got unfinished business with them all.

ktszyu1 - the cricket nets are behind the Ponsford Stand, behind the statue of Keith Miller (it's him, I think!).

After a day or so to cool down, I can't wait for next week. As Heath has said, we are going places. Let's do it! Go Pies!

Dids' first quarter was sublime and a key in getting us going. He buys us, weekly, 2-3 goals.
