A really good recruitment consultant is a gift from your chosen deity.

The one who placed me in my current job is a gem. She reaches out by phone regularly to see how it's going and checks in when she gets a role she thinks may suit.

She called me today with an opportunity, we're clear that I plan to see out my current contract and won't be cutting it short.

I've only been glancing at the job ads, it's like having a PA you don't have to pay who's doing all the hard work for you. Beats the shit out of normal job applying.

last week when i took the pics of the dying dog, we were down the beach, and the dog was talking to a couple of other dogs, one a gorgeous 8 month old with an equally gorgeous mum! I mean drop dead supermodel macleans toothpaste add perfect teeth, green eyes and flowing hair, perfect skin, im guessing 5.10 and a size 8-10, so i sent her a pic of her dog and said your probably a model, but if not im an amateur photographer and id love to take some pictures! Shes from germany and i was think working tourist for some reason, nope she has a business degree, shes a councillor and yoga teacher!! she came today, equipped with pics on her phone of poses, and they got racier as they went on!! needless to say i had an absolute ball, 3.5 hours and 254 shots later!! hopefully we got some great ones!! A lot just for her eyes, but man, shes awesome! she wanted to confront her body demons and learn to love the body shes in, and im like, **** me dead girl the rest of us have no hope!!

Hopefully you keep missing them and don't get an infestation.

Anyway, got a call from the boss late this arvo. Her boss had been in some high level discussions about the amount of project work coming up and long story short told my boss to ask if I'd like a 12 month contract extension.

Uhhhh Yeah? :D

I'll have to let the recruitment chick know. That job, if I got it, would have been more money but I like the people here, like the job, have had time to get to understand how stuff works and it's mainly 10 minutes from home or at home.

Time for a drink methinks.

my sister actually showed up yesterday, i took my dad out to lunch for his birthday, and the older one came with me, share the pain!! then we sat in the car for 2 hours and caught up!!!

today i finally got to see the hand surgeon, and thankfully, he can fix my hand! a year ago i fell backwards into a bonfire, and put my hand back to stop myself, broke 1 finger, and destroyed all the tendons in my hand it seems! booked in 3 weeks today for day surgery, I cant wait, i literally have 1 finger and my thumb working, its driving me nuts, and so painful! he was cute too!!!
