Memorable victory for Melbourne considering the criticism they received all week. Before today they'd only beaten Geelong once at Kardinia Park since 1988 and it was by one point in 2005.
A deserving victory for them and as a result Geelong remain outside the eight as they had a chance to climb up to sixth on the ladder had they won today.

i wouldn't have thought so. this kid is a nutter, probably more a selwood type. early days but it looks like melbourne have done well and will get 10+ years out of him.
