When did GWS?
I'm merely making the point that most supporters had a preference for Laverde at 5 then once the whispers began that GWS were set to select him a lot of supporters moved on to De Goey and talked themselves into being happy with him.
Now we feel happy that Laverde might be back on the table at our selection but jilted that we wont get the opportunity to take a player we mightn't have wanted in the first place.
GWS are messing with our emotions.
P.S-I get the feeling that the phantom drafters have no idea like the rest of us.
so, people are getting upset about not getting someone they never rated in the first place because someone who has little idea has said they wouldn't. makes sense.
emma quayle is the only one who should be trusted. oh,and shifter sheehan.

By then everything is falling into place and people in the media like her should be getting it near to spot on with all there contacts.
It's purely a guessing game to a large extent right now and it's hilarious because I'm not sure if we're following the medias lead or them ours.
NFI the lot of us.
there appears to be a lot of "draft experts" in the media now.
anyway, the lead up to the draft is always a bit of fun and good for a laugh. am not too bothered who we get. boom or bust, nothing's guaranteed.

laverde is just what we need. he would add strength,
size, speed and skill in the middle and that is something
we lack atm as our clearance rate this year shows.
he reminds me of j watson but with more athleticism
around the ground and what great mark. hope we get
him.

You couldn't be unhappy with getting Rainbow and his lethal left foot at 30 and while elite ball users are what we are crying out for I still have hopes for Gore ahead of him at 30 to provide us with some possible instant midfield impact next year and another strong body around the stoppages.
Him, Freeman, Adams and Greenwood sounds good going forward in terms of midfield grunt.
I wonder if Rainbow projects as a midfielder going forward or at least a high possession wing?
We need his kicking ability for sure but not sure another back flanker is high on our list of needs.

I'm hoping for Laverde, but am beginning to worry that GWS will spoil our party. Interestingly, Snoop predicts De Goey will not go until pick 14, despite rumours we're considering him at 5 (presumably if Laverde is gone). While Pickett oozes class and X-factor, I think his height will sway us against considering him, because we've got too many dwarfs in our side as it is.

Would hate us to pass up Wright if he is there.
Im now happy to see either Langford or Laverde at the pies if Wright is gone.
Langford seems better overhead and is a bottom age player so youd think more scope etc.

I would be very happy to have Langdon at the club even though he's the younger brother of Tom.
His running ability seems to be his biggest strength but I like how he wants to model his game on someone like Bradley Hill from Hawthorn who has fantastic running ability and endurance and is an excellent team player as well.

Me to. Doubt we'd take him at 30 so hopefully he's still there at 48. Either him or McLean.

Langford reminds me of a slightly quicker maxy...
not sure that is a good thing at pick 5. Still think there are others better.
