Good effort so far, despite the usual turnovers. Paine seems to be going nicely.
Well done boys!

Good to see Paine on song. Could be the missing link in our forward line if he can get his form right.

Well, Paine obviously gets a look-in because of those 4 goals, but they were largely racked up in that 2nd term.

Moloney's been in a heap of it. Hellier getting a fair amount, too, crashing in. The Beard has been dominant in the ruck. Oxley has had a bit of it. Martin slick and accumulating, as per usual.

Bodes well for the VFL team, especially with so many otherwise VFL players pressed into senior duties...

Thanks for the updates MB.

Couple of Qs

1) Moloney - any chance to be rookied next draft? Have heard a few good things

2) Paine - any shot of a call up to the seniors?

3) Gault - Last season it seemed we had a potential replacement for the Leigh Brown role, even with Lynch coming in. Some promsise as a forward, getting some ruck instruction, lots to like for a big kid still. Now we see him played out of position and going backwards at warp factor 10. What the actual hell is going on there?

Johnson's kick-in comes straight back.

But only a behind.

Scores level at 63...

G'day mate, you're very welcome. Thanks for your kind words.

Moloney - One to watch out for. Very good little player. Hard at it on the inside. A product of that hard school of VFL footy, Werribee Tigers. Keep an eye on him.

Paine - You'd think he has given the selectors some food for thought, after what has been an indifferent few weeks from him.

Gault - Totally agree, mate. Yes, we are down on full backs at reserve level, but gee whiz. We have VFL players for VFL problems. Looks so much better as a forward/relief ruckman. In fact, I would go so far as to say that Gault is the solution for this much coveted "Leigh Brown role" question. Pity the club is obsessed with creating another backman...

Allan gets introduced to the gutter as he kicks and wins the free and gets another go.

The Geelong cheersquad at the Sherrin Stand end are filthy, but the voice of Buzz Lightyear just goes back and kicks his third GOAL!

81-69.
