You folk think YOU'RE nervous?

Imagine how WE feel - in a year of horrors, with the pies flying, we field a ragged team of kids... surely there's no chance the Demons can win...

...and yet...

...it IS the Queen's Birthday showdown...

All the best on Monday.

Astonishingly, against our expectations as much yours, you'll need it.

who invited you in? i want a royal commission.

the rules ...
Supporters of other AFL clubs may be warned just for showing up. Supporters of Essendon and Richmond may receive two warnings and Carlton supporters will be banned on the spot as a time-saving measure. Supporters of South Australian teams will be treated with great disdain as well as being warned - and may not retaliate. What are you doing here anyway?

I see. Well, rules are rules, I guess.

Before I'm exiled, I'd like to say that the anticipatory analysis which started this thread was first rate. Well done DaVe86 - and I think you nailed the source of heeby jeebys in both camps - MFC's totally rejigged forward structure.

An unknown quantity, hence hard to plan for.

One suspects it won't be a factor... but then...

it IS the Queen's Birthday showdown.

Anything could happen.

Do svidaniye, tovarishchi.
