Thanks to Round the block frankie and connie for a great time in Sydney, couldnt believe meeting Mossi who had come over from Italy it was exciting meeting you mate.

Nice to meet eddiesmith and yep we have photographs to prove it

Thanks to all our friends from the Sydney collingwood supporters club who were just fantastic.

Great to meet frankiboy....you legend!!

PS the winners circle went apeshit one of the best ever!!

It was a great weekend had by all!!
Cheers mate, it was a pleasure. Hung back with some friends and witnessed our first winners circle, that was awesome, one of the highlights of the night, sensational.
I was looking out for the Nicks badges, couldn't spot any. Funny thing is, I could've been sitting next to any one of you and not knowing.
We were right behind the goals, about 15 rows from the fence, adjacent with the cheer squad. I sat with some very vocal boys who were absolutely giving Barry an earful lol and there was a lone poor old Swans supporter who kept turning his head in shock at the verocity of our support. Boy did he cop it, Bloody hell, what did he expect sitting amongst a Collingwood mob.
All in all it was a fantastic night, my first interstate game and one I'll cherish, well done to all the supporters who were there and went off, at times it felt like I was at home. :D

Yet another sensational victory!!.... We've had some of the most unbelievable & exciting wins this year thus far!!

Travis: With straight kicking he could well have been a clear BOG!... again!
Rocca: As above!
[Both these guys are having great seasons!]

Thomas: How well did he play!?!?!?....... i was jumping up & down as soon as Mr Gigantism started heading for that boundary line in the pocket - Had 'special' written all over it Brucey!!!!

Goldsack: Very impressive performance!! Really shows a bit this kid & i like what i see!!!

Desperation: The WANT to win was evident Saturday night! Let's hope we can maintain those hungry eyes & that team spirit!!
- The Burns smother!
- The Didak double smother/tackle right on the 50m defensive line was superb!

Memo to myself - Watch the replay!!!!

Nothing is better than driving to play a Gig at The Espy and warming up my vocal to " Good Old Collingwood Forever" and don't all the St Kilda sooks love our song as I let it rip along the Upper Esplanade Loud & Poud!. I was listening to it on the radio it sounded like Dale, Maxy, The Sack, Big Rocca , Wakes and of course the man in black & white Scotty Burns and Burnsy 17's favourite - Cheesy carved the swans into Mardi Gras float hangers! Hope Rocca gets off - just a good ol' fashioned sheperd ! Keep at it lads ! Go The Woods!

Uh, that might have been us. Was the Swans supporter the young chap in row 11 (roughly seat 46/47) wearing a red beanie? I didn't think was being too vociferous, but the Barries (Hall and Leo) were easy targets all night. Still, you're right, what the hell was he doing there?

Either way, we were in row 12 44/45, section 141. Straight in line with the centre of the goals. I was the bearded bastard with long hair.

Good times.

Absolutely FABULOUS!! :P This was our first interstate trip and Swooper myself and another girlfriend couldn't have imagined that it would be such a perfect night. The boys did us proud and it was such a treat to sit behind the cheersquad surrounded by all those timid tame swans fans. How quiet were they? We sang and chanted and felt like it was heaven.Sadly we missed the winners circle but had to get to the bus for the ferry trip . The back seat was ours as we sang and rocked to Tarko Man and Born to be alive. It was the best fun. Well worth it to celebrate with so many other pies fans.

Yeh, nah, I was in the next section mate, between goal and point post, there was a few of us, about 15 occupying a small section of 2 rows, 14 and 15.
The Swans supporter was actually an old chap wearing a cap and I think scarf. Sounds like you weren't very far from us though, just across the aisle :)

Agreed wholeheartedly. Now all we have to do is become a champion team

Hey joff..just back not long ago. Was a fantastic weekend, I met bucksisgod too, great bloke. Would have loved to have had a few beers with him but wasn't to be, i'd say it would have been quite funny, as the 15 mins or so we chatted was funny enough.
I'm about to watch the tape, as because we had started out at the minus5 bar in the afternoon, then the champagne bar then to Jacksons on George, by the time the footy came around the grog still flowed, can't really recall Thomas kicking 4, though in the warm up he was kicking them out his bum, unlike someone else. So better go back and re-live it. Got to the cas but not until last night a great band playing there. Also saw the storm and rabbits win which was good giving the st george people a bit of lip.

Did see "the great man" and Rocca in at Circular Quay on Sat arvo too, looking very relaxed.

The winners circle was great, though left just after you were being chaired around to the chants of "joffa joffa joffa".

Saw you too frankie but you were too busy singing to the chants, so we left. I needed to get somewhere for another beer!

PS, hope nothing got stuck in ya teeth!!!!

That was one of the better team efforts I've seen for ages.

I put $20 on the Pies to win Under 39.5 points. By 3/4 time I was starting to worry that we'd thrash 'em! ;)

My first post, but have been following nicks for more than 4 years and been a one eyed pie supporter ever since I saw the black and white more than 30 years ago! Nicks to me is far and away the best football web sight and I really respect the opintions and views expressed in this forum.

In the odd 35 years I have feverently followed the pies, we are developing the most talented kids I have ever come across at collingwood, hopefully now to set up a dynasty. The win on Saturday night was just bloody fantastic. The best for me, putting aside a 100% fantastic team effort was:
1. cloke (except his kicking), the way he ripped oponents to the ground and those one take grabs - just fantastic. To think he is only 20.
2. Scott burns (sir). MM has to preserve this guy, he has been the critical success factor so many times, just when we need that little bit extra
3. clarke * has there been a better debut??
4. Moneybags * welcome to our top 22 (I don't think it is premature).
Collingwood since 1972. Luv da pies!

Was terrific to meet you Maddy, hoping to get down to Melbourne for either the Demons or Sydney matches, I'll shout ya a Bintang
My first experience of the winners circle was terrific. don't think the Swans fans had seen anything like it, although most Swans fans boarded the departing bandwagon at 3/4 time. Enjoyed the heartfelt send offs that Pies fans gave them too.
