NO ONE will expect us to win. great cos we have the underdog tag we seem to play better that way.
for us to win we need to shut down these players hall, micky o, mums boy, goodes, everitt.
-Wakes playing for his lifeline tommorrow night shut down hall it will be hard to drop him.
-micky o ,agent 86 will get first go and mum's boy will get cox.
Our pressure with the man with the ball will help our backline. Rock we need you it will either be a epic or a titanic.

we will win if we can get 1 or 2 loose players in their backline, forget wings or hffs just flood them and play fast rebound game, they will kill us 1on1 so we need to flood them down back from the 1st bounce. If we dont flood im expecting us to lose by about 5-10goals, if we flood its 2-3goals either way.

I'd love a win as much as the rest of you but aren't expecting anything.
I am really excited to see what tactics Mick has up his sleeve. A last minute emergency change perhaps, Rocca at full back on Hairy Ball, Bucks as the team runner. If we win I'll take my hat off to the players but my pants off for mighty mick. A huge coaching test ahead of him needing plan A to Z. I rate him and hope he surprises us. If we lose then I guess its the old silk purse argument with no hard feelings.

Talking about the game with people earlier in the week, I said that I thought Sydney would be well advised to unleash their players to take advantage of us being so under-manned in defence.

If, however, this happens, then Malthouse would be well advised to not try to shut play down but to go for broke. We'll have nothing to lose. In fact, I'd rather we took Sydney on in a shoot-out than tried to keep the game close.

It could get ugly.Sydney will attempt to unsettle Collingwood's young defenders by piling on a barrage of goals early in Saturday night's AFL clash, Swans midfielder Ben Mathews says.

Eddie, Lonie has played 1/2 game in the twos in the last nine weeks. There is no way known he would have the fitness base to go with Goodes which is the only reason you would want him in the side ahead of any of the kids. Even at full fitness, it is doubtful there is a place for him in our best 24, so why would you play him under-done and at the expense of further developing our future stocks?eddiesmith wrote:No Lonie? Predictions
We'll be fine tonight on one condition, our midfield cannot let Sydney loose like they did early on against Demons. If they can't get the ball to Hall and co they won't beat us coz our forward line is too potent, assuming of course that Rocca and Dids stand and deliver.
We need another massive game from Trav Cloke and I would suggest that Mr. Richards will be playing for his career tonight. If he has a good one he'll be very secure although I guess if things go pear-shaped everyone will be pointing to our lack of defence as a reason behind the loss.
Go Pies... we can do this... will be regarded by many as our greatest victory of the year, even better than the Adelaide and Brisbane wins, if we can do this.
Looking forward to it..... anyone else heading the Casino?
