we really need this one and with the sun shining on a saturday afternoon lets hope the footy gods are on our side.. their big stupid irishman will be no match for rocca.. and as we have seen fev can kick a bag and the blues arent a certain to win...
they key will be at the stopages and if we continue to work like we have in 07 there is no one in blue that will match us on the ground.. scotland will cry again when tagged hard our run thru shaw and shaw will be no match..

This is one you always worry about. Blues dont look to bad on paper. Last time they went around at the G they played a super game vs Essendon.
When on song they win the hard footy and move the ball quickly into Fevola. Blokes like Carazzo, Bentnick, Walker will get it out to the likes of Walker, Murphy, Scotland, Houlihan who will ensure it moves swiftly thru the middle and will deliver the ball with accuracy.
We will win it by doing what we do well. Putting a heap of pressure on and keeping it on and waiting for a chance to bust the game open which is usually a bit later when our superior running can take over.
Ackland needs to be exposed in the ruck and worked over by Fraser. Scotland needs to be tagged and I would use Ben Johnson.
Presti needs to go to Fev and we need Wakelin to get to Kennedy and peel in front of Fevola. You would almost consider dropping one back on Fev bc they just wont win if he doesnt kick at least 3-4.
OBrien should get Whitnall. The giant killer deserves it and he could hurt Whitnall the other way. Need to watch for Fischer who is very good one on one - Maxy gets him for me....Toovey maybe depending on where KOuta lines up. (suspecy short burst off the bench).
Rocca needs to expose the Irishmen and Bryan needs to outmuscle Thornton. Waite will be a tough match up for Cloke as he can keep up with the leads so think about starting him closer to the square.
Our midfielders need to get on top of their more inexperienced group and supply enough fwd 50's for us to win.
Look for big game from OBree who has been quiet and Iles who wont give up his spot easily.

A: Oh, great. It was one of the best things to happen all day.

A: Seeing him get laid out.

Was not with us hence we won.
