Great game Pies!!

My fave moment of the night was in the last quarter when Rhys and Heath bustled and fidgeted some adelaide Hack towards the boundary line and pinched the ball. To see em patting each other on the back afterwards was beautiful (certainly better than when they had a punch on during a game once!)
Collingwood es bueno para siempre

Just watched the game again. Loved some of Rocca's 1 percenters. Do yourself a favour an have a look at the first goal of the third quarter - outnumbered 3 to 1 in a marking contest, he tapped the ball to Egan to set up the goal for Daisy Thomas.
Side by side.

We are playing as a team. No egos, all hard work and sacrifice for each other.

I was watching the game in this weird little bar in Carlton on a fuzzy black and white telly. I was going fully off and I got a few weird stares!!

Chris Bryan's 3rd quarter was superb!

One thing I think needs to happen is, the crows fans need to learn the rules. They have NFI.

Great win against the odds. Good stuff no matter how much the usual suspects want to put the mockers onto it...

Had to put this pic up again, I think it was Chris Bryan over Ratten :)

Our spirit is fantastic at the moment. The young guys have just got so much self belief and it's contagious throughout the whole team. Daisy is such a leader; awesome at his age.

As a fan, nothing's better than watching such whole hearted commitment at every contest.

Take a bow Mick and all the coaching staff.

The only concern is we should have won by 6 goals, ditto last week.
Hearing the 'Black & White Army' roar is the greatest sound in the world.

I think at this point we can all eat a little humble pie, look at the keys to our success. R Shaw, Tarkyn Lockyer, O'Bree, Rocca, Swan, all lamented by many confused supporters including myself but all critical for us and our current form. Just shows that perhaps the club does know what it is doing and have learnt from the past 5-10 years and not making knee-jerk reactions, I think every player delisted and recruited in last few years have basically been a good decision and it shows looking outside-in as a supporter we really don't have the info needed to make the calls we do. Even having Richards on the list is still OK to me, as a backup / a wakeup call to not being crucial any more, who knows what he can do in a successful club culture?

I know it won't last long but at least we can be proud of our club at the moment and for the first time in a long time be very optimistic about sustained success and not volatile performances. Mick also pointed out after the game to expect a lull in performance at some stage as the team is very young, he knows what he is doing with every word now.

Great stuff.

Couldn't agree more Big T. For me however, what has surprized me the most has not been the performances of our youngsters, but the performances of Burns and Tarks. I honestly thought their best football was long behind them, but I was clearly mistaken. Burns is playing like he's in his early 20s and Tarks has become a true mid-fielder, with pace, endurance and precision disposals. All of a sudden, so it seems, our old slow midfield has become one of the fastest and slickest in the comp. Halelujah.

It was great to see Egan come straight in and have an impact, particularly when the heat was on early in the game. I suspect he'll stay in the side if Dick is dropped for the Carlton game. If Bryan can work on his ruck work he'll be a handy player, especially as another forward option, as he proved so effectively yesterday. All in all, we're travelling ver well at the moment, and Mick and all the coaching staff deserve applause for their efforts.

Great, great win last night!I just love the way the boys are playing at the moment.Let's hope they can keep it up for the rest of the season. The kicking in front of goal is a big concern though.I think we've kicked 23 goals 43 points in the last two weeeks. It's going to cost us a game one day.Hopefully Didak and Medhurst will come back into the side next week and straighten us up because they are our two best finishers.
