Thankfully TITP many people, including our match committee, take more into account than "We lost" or "We won".
Get back on top.

How about from now on we have one thread were we can celebrate a win, and another for bagging guys who didnt play well when we won?

Sounds like a plan.

Or how about just create a 'Nick's Bitch' board, where all you people can take it in turns of bagging OB, Jules, Fanno.....whoever the flavour of the month is. Deal?

Cam are you sure you are not Gary Lyon incognito???

Because you certainly sound like him. He could not praise the boys until right at the end. Only how how bad Port were playing. Lets face it we pressured and they fell apart. That is all there is to it. And in the end they were not good enough to beat us, because we played betterthan they did. We came out with 4 points and they didn't. Need i say much more.
All this may be summed up in one word - CHARACTER - and if that is not worth developing, nothing is.

C'mon guys, give Cam a break. He is right. Port played like crap. I believe a lot of it came from the pressure we applied to them but they are a premiership team and you don't win those if you can't handle pressure.

I don't see Cam's comments as whinging, just putting things in perspective. Lets face it, last week we kicked poorly against Sydney and lost a game we should have won. The only difference this week was the opposition and we won. It does kind of make a point, doesn't it?

Now there's a SUPPORTER. :D

Port were bad ? Some of you just have no idea.
Port WEREN'T bad? Are you nuts? What game were you watching? They were disinterested, flat, unemotional, poorly-skilled, ill-directed, lazy and haphazard in their delivery and goal kicking. Only some of that was related to our planning and pressure. If that doesn't constitute bad... well *shrugs*
mmmmm the boys'll be very impressed that just the sheer thought of playing us has upset poor old port to the point that they just can't function anymore

Well Cam, that'll explain this weeks win. I'm so dissappointed with our win now, seeing as we didn't deserve it!

I thought Fanning played a reasonable game last night, Didak was good, Tarrant looked more comfortable when he was moved from the forward line.

I don't know why people are bagging Fanning, I thought he did a reasonable job. Holland had a good game as well, Lockyer was better this week, as was a few others.

Our kicking for goal is my main concern right now.

Oh and O'Bree was good last night as well, showed some guts, and played well, good on you O'Bree.

Agree. You can only beat the side put infront of you. Its that simple. Although port were awful, and aroogant, we were great.

Had to watch the replay to see exactly how we won that affair. Still couldn't figure it out! Just guts, discipline and determination I suppose.
The backline was superb- again!! and a great team effort of harrassment and pressure all over the ground. The reality is the game should have been in the bag earlier. With the way we play and with our personnel we need to take every opportunity to kick truely. As we did vs WCE, Cats.
If the boys play with that amount of determination each week, win or lose, I'll have no problems.

We have beaten this years number 1 team, and number 1 by a long shot, now we have beaten the reigning premiers.
Though not in the hunt this year, it does show that the coach, the gameplan and the emerging talent will give us a very bright future.

Eunos, don't be too happy baout the game plan/kids/reigning premiers etc. Remember in round 22 1997 when we toppled North, before crashing in the next two years?

Only joking. This list has far more talent then any list from 1992-1999.
