Rick wrote:So from the 2 praccy matches can anyone see any improvement in the vfl side? Sounds like there's a lot of young tac cup kids and little vfl experienced players. Any thoughts on Tappings coaching? I thought Boland might have played since he kicked a few in an intra club game
I think we have recruited a stronger VFL list. This bunch of players DID smack Essendon around for th better part of a half last week (Dons had most of their depth players in) and did run Geelong to within 7 points in the last quarter after sticking with them for most of the day.
Get the senior guys currently in casualty back out there and we have a MUCH stronger VFL team...
Well I am back from Geelong. Got Rained on a bit. Lost 103 - 77.
My Thoughts:
* We Got Bloody Screwed by the Scumps. They stopped out Momentum with Ticky Tac Free Kicks for the Pussie Cats. Very Frustrating as I think we could of won
* We Kicked Straight 12 5
* Josh Thomas was Exicting did Really well as inside mid
* Hudson belted well in the Ruck
* Yagmoor is a Turnover Machine. He can be the Best Player for the Oppostion. Playing out his Contract.
* Williams was Solid but Kicking still a Worry
* Martin was Solid
* Oxley is a Great Kick but needs work on his Defensive Side
